    Dr. Vaughan has served AWT since March of 1998 as the team leader of the Agronomy / Soil Science division. Dr. Vaughan is a Certified Crop Advisor, Certified Professional Agronomist, Associate Professional Soil Scientist, Licensed Soil Scientist, and a Subsurface Water Pollution Control System Operator. Dr. Vaughan is a member of the American Society of Agronomy, Soil Science Society of America, and the Soil and Water Conservation Society.

    Dr. Vaughan’s responsibilities include soils evaluations for septic system (residential and commercial) suitability, septic system inspections, wetland delineations, residential and commercial septic system designs and the verification of offset projects, which include no-till, grassland and rangeland.

    Mosley joined AWT in September of 2000 and is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, Nebraska and Texas. Mosley is also a NRCS TSP in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin and is a North Carolina Technical Specialist. Mosley’s main responsibilities include: engineering design and specifications for commercial and residential septic systems, permitting, irrigation planning, stormwater design, sewer design and sediment and erosion control design and the verification of offset projects, which include agricultural methane and combustion, renewable energy, landfill methane, no-till, grassland and rangeland projects.

    Langenbach joined AWT in July of 1995 and is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of North Carolina, Oklahoma, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Kentucky. Langenbach is also certified as an NCSU Stormwater BMP Inspector, a NPPC Environmental and Odor Assessor and a Technical Service Provider (TSP) for the NRCS in several categories. Langenbach has a wealth of experience related to the animal feeding industry including: waste system design, nutrient management planning, irrigation planning, site inspections and training. Langenbach’s additional responsibilities include: permitting, annual reporting, stormwater BMP inspections and design, wetland delineation, residential septic and alternative onsite wastewater design and carbon offset verifications.

    Tilley joined AWT in February of 2009 as the Office Manager/Bookkeeper. Tilley received her undergraduate degree from Meredith College in Raleigh and her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Tilley’s main responsibilities include: scheduling site visits / inspections, tracking accounts payable and receivable, and coordinating office operations to ensure organizational effectiveness. She is generally the first point of contact for services and will make sure clients are appropriately connected.

    Assistant Agronomist/Soil Scientist

    McGee is an Assistant Agronomist/Soil Scientist for AWT. McGee received his B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in Soil Science in 2006 from North Carolina State University. In 2007, McGee became a NC Soil Scientist in Training and will continue to advance under the guidance of the soil science/agronomy division. McGee’s main responsibilities include: septic and well inspections, soils evaluations, Ksat and infiltration testing, drain field layouts, nutrient management and assisting with carbon credit verification.

    Environmental Technician/GIS Specialist

    Peele is an Environmental Technician and GIS Specialist. Peele received her B.S. with a concentration in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1997. Peele completed training in Wetland Determination and Delineation and earned her certification in Intermittent and Perennial Stream Identification for Regulatory Applications and Introduction to ArcView. Peele’s main responsibilities include: obtaining permits, delineation of jurisdictional wetlands, writing Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plans (CNMP), assisting with carbon credit verification and overall technical support for the senior project engineers.

    Soils Technician

    Griffin is a Soils Technician for AWT. Griffin received his B.S. in Agronomy with a concentration in Soil Science from North Carolina State University and is currently pursuing his M.S. in Soil Science. In 2007, Griffin became a NC Soil Scientist in Training and will continue to advance under the guidance of the soil science/agronomy division. Griffin’s main responsibilities include: well and septic inspections, soils evaluations, septic system drainfield layouts, and delineation of jurisdictional wetlands.
